Skate hall project Track D

Track D is a skate hall project of the non-profit association for the promotion of youth culture and sport eV, which is aimed at all ramp athletes. It's a place where skateboarders, BMXers, bladers, scooters and dirt bikers can meet to practice their sport together. The skate hall is located in Hanover and offers both a spacious indoor ramp area and an outdoor area where you can skate at any time of the year.

The location can be easily reached from any direction in Hanover and is intended to create a space for sporty, integrative, interdisciplinary and cultural exchange at low cost, where everyone feels welcome and which offers space for new creative projects. The association for the promotion of youth culture and sport eV operated the Yard Skatehall in Hanover from 1998 to 2017. The club has been running the Gleis D skate hall since 2018 and has been offering trend athletes of all ages and social classes a place to pursue their passion for over 20 years.

The club is run by volunteers who are active in sports and who support the skate park alongside their job. The association is organized through the commitment of young people and young adults. The association for the promotion of youth culture and sport eV is a recognized non-profit association that does not generate any surplus profits - thus a non-profit organization.

The association makes an essential contribution to the development of various youth scenes and offers a home to trend and extreme athletes. The project Track D lives and works through the voluntary work of many. The team is constantly growing with new people and their ideas. Everyone is cordially invited to get involved with Gleis D, regardless of age or other criteria.
