Other basic skateboard terms are "Wheelbase", " Deck Length", "Nose" and "Tail".
The wheelbase is the distance between the axles. The longer the wheelbase, the more stable the board goes straight. But it must not be too long either, otherwise you will not be able to get around the curve. But the wheelbase must also match your leg length so that you can keep your board well under control .
Incidentally, the wheelbase is measured between the two inner axle screws.
A skateboard has the front, the "nose" (i.e. the nose) and the "tail" (i.e. the rear part). The nose is usually a bit longer than the tail. The length and shape affect what tricks you can do with the board. More on that later.
And finally, the overall length of the board must also suit you.
All the kids skateboards that you find at First-Skateshop are built by real skateboard designers and you can be sure that everything will fit together perfectly.
