Skateboard trucks are an important part of every skateboard and have a decisive influence on the skate experience. They determine stability, control and flexibility when skating. Choosing the right truck is therefore of paramount importance for skaters of all levels, from beginners to professionals. Let's discover together.
Selection criteria for your skateboard trucks:
Size:
The size of the truck should match the size of the skateboard and the skater. The Tremendous trucks are available in sizes from 4.25" to 5.8".
These sizes describe the width of the "hanger" (the hanger is the slightly thicker, round piece through which the axle runs). Later, the rollers will also be attached to the axle pin.

Hardness:
The hardness of the truck determines how much stability and control the skater has. There are several degrees of hardness ranging from soft to hard. The bushings are decisive for this. These are the rubber parts on the kingpin.
Depending on the width of the truck, the SHR skateboard bushings are selected in such a way that the steering behavior of the skateboard remains very agile. So you don't have to think about that.
Material:
The choice of axle material can affect durability, lightness and performance. Our axles are made of strong aluminum alloy. There are no differences in this point in any of the Tremendous truck models. The aim is to deliver a material that is as stable as possible with as little weight as possible.
Price:
Skateboard trucks are available in different price categories. It's important to keep an eye on your budget, but also not to cut corners at the expense of quality. The quality is of course the same for the Tremendous models, but there are weight advantages with the models and thus also price differences, which result from more complex processing.
