The Hub Fürth: Milestone for local skaters
The new hall is a real asset for skaters in Fürth and the surrounding area. It finally offers a weather-independent training opportunity and saves long journeys to other indoor halls. At the same time, it is a central meeting point for the local skate community.
The Creation of the Roller Sports Hall
After years of planning, the Eckart roller sports hall in Fürth was finally completed. Within a few months, the former warehouse was made barrier-free and weatherproof. Thanks to the generous support of the entrepreneur Carl Friedrich Eckart and the close cooperation between the city of Fürth and the local skateboarding club The Hub, one of the most modern indoor roller sports centers in Bavaria was realized.
Skatehalle Fürth: Equipment
The city of Fürth and the skate club worked hand in hand on a concept that includes BMX, skateboards, scooters and even wheelchair WCMX. Careful attention was paid to the selection of modern ramps and obstacles so that there are areas in the hall that are suitable for beginners and advanced riders.
A very special part of the equipment are the trainers! Skate coach Olaf Küsgens was involved in developing the educational concept for the hall. The inclusive idea was always the focus. The Hub should not only be a place for training and events, but also a meeting place for young people to exchange ideas and spend time together.
This thoughtful design and the presence of skate coaches makes The Hub not only a training place, but also a place where everyone can learn from each other!

Wednesday & Friday :
4:00 PM–9:00 PM

Courses:
• Professional courses for beginners and advanced students, led by experienced trainers
• Courses for all age groups – from six-year-old beginners to 55-year-old beginners.
• Possible focus: technique, tricks and safe use of the hall.
