What is actually included in an assembly kit?

A mounting kit, often called "bolts and nuts," consists of eight screws and eight nuts. You thread the screws through the holes in the deck from above, and screw the nuts underneath onto the baseplates of your trucks. This holds everything together rock solid!

Which screw length fits my setup?

  • Skateboards & Cruisers: 7/8″ to 1″
  • With 1/8″ shock pads: 1″ – 1 1/8″
  • With 1/4″ riser pads: 1 1/4″
  • With 1/2″ riser pads: 1 1/2″
  • Longboard top mount: 1″ - 11/4″
  • Drop-Through Decks: 1″ – 1 1/4″

Tip: Simply measure the deck and pad thickness and choose the next larger screw length, then the nut will sit securely.

Phillips vs. Allen key – which drive is the right one?

  • Universal, any simple tool fits.
  • Better grip and less slipping. Many of our sets include the matching Allen key – super practical for on the go!

What is the quickest way to assemble my board?

1. Insert screws from above through deck holes

2. Attach the axles with the baseplate

3. Screw the nuts hand-tight

4. Tighten screws until the heads are flush with the grip tape

5. Ready to go!

Can I reuse my old screws?

Yes, if they're undamaged. Tip: After a fall or rough use, quickly check whether the threads and heads are still in good condition. If not, it's better to grab a new set right away – it only costs a few euros and gives you peace of mind.
