Buying skateboard griptape – what you need to know

The grip tape on the deck ensures that you can execute all your tricks easily. The grip allows you to really feel the skateboard and perform controlled flips.

Colored, clear or black – choose your style

Black is standard – but it's by no means everything! We also offer colored griptape , versions with creative prints , and transparent griptape . Customize your setup the way you like it! If you ride very wide shapes, you'll also be fine with our 11" griptapes .

Which grip tape is right for you?

Griptapes vary in design and grit. If you're very comfortable with your skateboard, we recommend Jessup . The coarse grit lasts a long time and provides a firm grip for technical tricks!

If you prefer a finer grit, try the Zupply grips. They also provide great grip, but are easier to gauge for beginners.

It's important to remember: Griptape should match the deck width ! With our selection, you can equip any board up to 11.0". We also include a free griptape with all decks .
